Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is designed to proactively sense oversteer and understeer situations. When ESC detects approaching over-or-understeer conditions, it adjusts the braking power of each wheel to help you restore your course. This feature is standard on both the GLS and Limited models.

The Veracruz is graced with a total of 6 airbags: dual advanced front seat, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side-impact, and roof-mounted side curtain airbags for all three rows, which is again, standard for both models.

Slippery roads lead to tires slipping; the Veracruz’sTraction Control System (TCS) detects slippage and lessens the engine torque, so you can safely escape potentially dangerous situations.

The standard front and rear disc brakes are made better through ABS and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD).

The rear parking assist mechanism, standard on both models, prevents you from hitting any object behind you.
