Exclusions
Roadside Assistance is NOT A WARRANTY. For a description of the warranty covering your Hyundai, see the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty section of the SERVICE PASSPORT. Roadside Assistance is a limited service, provided to you to help minimize any unforeseen vehicle operation inconvenience.

The Hyundai Roadside Assistance Program does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labour, property loss or any other expense incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism or other items not covered by the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

1 YEAR UNLIMITED K, Replacement Parts & Accessories

Covers repair or replacement of any Hyundai Genuine Replacement Parts or Accessory supplied by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. Genuine Hyundai replacement parts purchased from and installed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer will be warranted for 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance travelled. Automatic transaxles are covered for 12 months or 20,000 Kms, whichever occurs first.

Genuine Hyundai replacement parts replaced under the terms of the HYUNDAI New Vehicle Warranty, including powertrain, emission, etc., will be warranted for the remainder of the applicable warranty which the part was replaced.

HYUNDAI warrants all dealer-installed accessories to be free from defects for a period of 12 months from installation date regardless of distance travelled.

5 YEAR 100,000K Comprehensive Limited

Covers nearly every new vehicle component. Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance

The following components covered for time and mileage limits indicated:

Radio and Sound Systems (i.e. radio, cassette tape drive mechanism, and compact disc player), DVD system: 3 years / 60,000 Km
Paint: 3 years/ 60,000 Km
Battery: 3 years / 60,000 Km
Adjustments: 1 year / 20,000 Km

5 YEAR UNLIMITED K Anti-Perforation Warranty

Covers perforation due to corrosion on body sheet metal from inside to outer body surface.
Covers perforation, corrosion of any component through the metal body panel from the lower window line down and occuring from the inner to outer surface, corrosion of original Hyundai body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

Excludes surface corrosion.

5 YEAR 100,000K Basic Emissions Coverage
HYUNDAI's Emission System Warranty covers the basic emission components unless otherwise specifically provided, for 60 months from the Warranty Registration Date or 100,000 Km, whichever occurs first.

8 YEAR 130,000K Major Emissions Coverage

Covers repair or replacement of the following original Hyundai major emissions control components :

Catalytic Converter
Engine Control Module
Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device (OBDII)

5 YEAR 100,000K Powertrain Protection

Covers most engine and transaxle components.
Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e. selected Engine, Transmission / Transaxle,and 4WD components), originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance
Second and/or subsequent owners have the balance of powertrain components coverage under the 5 year / 100,000 KM Powertrain Warranty

Maintenance

Hyundai recommends that all service and maintenance be performed by an authorized Hyundai dealer. Hyundai dealers have factory trained technicians, specialized equipment, and genuine Hyundai replacement parts backed by a one year unlimited mileage warranty in order to provide high-quality service, maintenance and any other assistance that may be required. If you choose to perform maintenance yourself, or have your vehicle serviced at a location other than an authorized Hyundai dealer, we recommend that all fluids and materials used meet Hyundai standards for durability and performance.

It is important to keep copies of service records and that you record service and maintenance completed in a log book or journal. The Owner's Manual supplied with every new Hyundai product provides detailed information about vehicle maintenance requirements. Also, ask your Hyundai dealer for a copy of the Factory Recommended Maintenance Schedule Brochure which clearly outlines Hyundai's maintenance requirements, intervals and pricing.
